Hi! My name is Armaanvir Singh "Armaan" is my preferred name. I am 21 years of age, and I am currently a dual enrolled college student at UWM (University of Wisconsin Milwaukee-full time) and MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College-part time) student as well. I am a Biology (Biological Sciences) major on the intended Premed (MD)/Predental (DDS) track, and I am learning throughly about each profession and what each entails including the medical doctors and their staff in the hospitals, as well as dentists and their staff in the dental clinics. However, I am learning more towards dentistry as a career choice and or profession as well! I am of Northern Indian descent (Punjabi/Sikhism culture and religions), and I can speak a few different languages as well (Punjabi, Hindi, English, and Spanish). I want to get a position as a dental assistant at Dental Associates of Wauwatosa for a couple different reasons. Firstly, because being a dental assistant, and or, being part of the dental profession as a whole, is where my interest lies- in helping people and or patients with their oral healthcare needs. Also, because, being a dental assistant will give me great experience in the dental field as I will get to learn more and indepth about what the dental profession entails not only for dental assistants, but hopefully also for dental technicians and hygenists, as well as dentists (DDS or DMD) themselves. Getting a job as a dental assistant will be a nice stepping and or learning zone for me as I will get to learn more about dentistry, and also stay in continuation with my college studies- which are hopefully leaning me in the direction of my career/professional goal of becoming a dentist someday.
