Armando Diego Avitia

Summary

I am a highly motivated, second-generation skilled carpenter with a strong passion for craftsmanship and a proven ability to deliver high-quality work. Growing up I have always been fascinated with construction and building. Leading into my high school years I spent much of my time working whenever I had the chance during weekends and vacations helping my dad's framing business doing all types of carpentry and construction work. These experiences and environments taught me what it truly meant to have a strong work ethic. After graduating Highschool I worked for a local general contractor doing finish carpentry for a few months until work slowed down. I then joined Avitia Framing where I have been full-time for over four years now. Over these past years I have helped build many custom residential homes and commercial buildings. I am looking to incorporate my current knowledge into this new journey of construction management.. I have enjoyed the work that I have taken part in, but I feel eager to get out of the trades and to move into a new position to expand my knowledge and strengths. I would love to be a part of a growing company where I can be mentored as well as provide knowledge and expertise. I consider myself to be disciplined, focused, and consistent with my work as well as a fast learner who is able to adapt to new environments quickly. I fluently speak Spanish which can be a great benefit in the construction world when it comes to communicating with workers and clients to ensure clarity and quality in projects. I believe that I am known for my attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and project deadlines. I plan on contributing to team success by prioritizing communication within the workplace and by utilizing the resources provided. I am ready to bring my hands-on expertise, knowledge with technology, dedication, and eagerness to an construction management role.
