  • Delivered prompt and courteous customer service by addressing all inquiries effectively.
  • I completed accurate paperwork for service orders, including detailed notes of the work performed. I worked for Repair Smith for a short time; they sent me to work in Oakland, which was fine. They talked a good game, saying that if I found myself in a bad situation, I had the choice to stay or to do the work. I was working 85 hours a week, driving from San Jose to Oakland. In the short time that I worked there, I made it to one of the top ten earners company-wide, and I made over $1,800 in bonus pay. I found the job to be a lot of fun, but I went to a job where the service writer asked me to check out a car. When I got to the job, the customer was livid, and I could not calm her down. I had worked on her car before that, and it went great; she gave me a great review, but they had her waiting for hours before I got there. I had to leave; she was out of control. It was after 9 o'clock, and I was in Oakland. That was the first time I left a job. After that, I got no call, and I did not think it was bad for me; it was on the service writers, but I found a check in the bank on Friday, and it was not payday. My workload was wiped clean on Saturday, and I got the call to take my company van back to where I picked it up. They never asked me my side; the only complaint they had with me was that I was not posting on the iPad they gave me. It was broken when they asked me. The manager came to look at it and ordered me a new one; that was it. I still do not know how they make money. A lot of my jobs would cancel. Most of the time, I would be done with all my work at 11, then I would call, and they would send me all over to help others. It was great; they paid for all the gas, so I would go from Antioch to San Francisco, back to San Jose, in one day.
