As a sales associate for Premium Retail Services, I sell cell phones to customers in 3 regional Walmart stores within the Morristown and Jefferson City areas. Premium Retail Services represents AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. As soon as I start my shift, I print out inventory, alongside make attention-grabbing PA announcements regularly. My job mainly consists of interacting with customers to find what kind of phone, carrier, and service plan suits their needs, creating accounts or upgrading lines through cell carriers using either a computer or an iPad, printing out important customer information, selling the phone at the cash register (with printed papers included), setting up the phone, and selling phone accessories. Additionally, if a customer is having an issue with a phone or service plan sold by me, they can bring it back in and I’ll fix it right away. The customer always comes first!

As a barista, my job includes opening and closing the store. Customer service is a very important aspect of my job, and I am expected to maintain a friendly and respectful demeanor in order to assure that they are satisfied with their experience at the store. My specialty is making coffee, which consists of various steps that depend on the type and size of the beverage. I also know how to prepare food orders as needed, including in-person and online DoorDash orders. I use both a notepad and an iPad to take customers’ orders. Once an order has been submitted on the iPad, I then either open the cash register if they are paying with cash or slide them the card reader if they are paying with a card. After preparing their order, I bring it out to them with a smile and tell them to enjoy!
