  • UCare offers Medicare, Medicaid, Individual and Family health plans. Ucare is migrating their member and plans from AMISYS to HealthEdge/HealthRules for care administration. Our project’s primary focus is to integrate HealthEdge with Fuse frontend interface. Multi-Layer Enterprise Services were built to support the integration. Our testing scope has been, verification and validation of these API’s and their expected behavior.
  • Leading all testing efforts for FUSE application and backend services.
  • Validating member enrollment, policies, benefits, claims as well as aggregation(migration of customers and plans from AMISYS to HealthEdge/HealthRules product).
  • Worked with Test Lead to create test plans clarifying test strategy, objective, estimation, schedule, deliverables and resources required.
  • Regression automation test suite modification, execution and verification on project builds targeted for release.
  • SpecFlow framework is used for automation suite. We evaluated moving test automation to Selenium with ATTD (Acceptance test driven development) and Azure DevOps. We are moved now to test automation and test management in Azure Dev Ops.
  • Working with 2 test engineers to split test cases to cover required testing and reviewing results. Help team for any queries/concerns/blockers in test execution.
  • Reviewing API definition to validate resources, operations and data models used by API.
  • Creation/modification, collection and verification of data needed for testing, using Oracle SQL Queries and REST API (using SOAP UI), as needed for tests.
  • Test Management (plan, manage, execute tests and log defects) using TFS(Test Foundation Server). Initially we used MTM(Microsoft Test Management) for test management.
  • Sprint management for Agile Scrum delivery project is done using TFS. Use Cases are documented here and split into Epic/Story/tasks for Sprint management. Test Cases are linked from MTM to TFS for test coverage of user story.
  • Learned ReadyAPI and its capabilities to be used in Agile Projects, right from CI/CD pipeline, to speed up test automation with focus on functional testing and service virtualization.
  • Migrated our test management and test automation to Azure DevOps from TFS, where now Test Plans, Test Automation, Test Status Boards, Repository and pipelines for Agile and DevOps practice are integrated.

The project involved in ensuring that the assessment solutions provided for various US State Education programs are performing to provide excellent and ease of assessment experience for students. Kanban Agile methodology was used for development and defect resolution in the project.
