Create and implement individualized treatment plans to help guide clients in the development of skills, utilizing different therapeutic modalities based on the clients needs. Motivate clients to cope with stress and anxiety and build resilience. Encourage clients to talk about and explore their feelings and behaviors, while evaluating therapy sessions and outcomes. Refer clients to other specialists or support services within the community as necessary.

Responsible for providing a range of home-based services beginning with a comprehensive assessment to identify family strengths, resources and needs. Assisted in developing a treatment plan with each family to identify goals and opportunities for a successful outcome. Provided leadership and instruction to coworkers so they can complete tasks quickly and effectively; including appearing at court hearings, consultation on case decision making, and reviewing documentation. Ability to work under pressure, and have been observed and recognized for excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.

Facilitated both individual therapy sessions and family therapy sessions. Co-facilitated groups in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Aggression Replacement Therapy, Healthy Relationships, and Negative Peer Association. Formulated case conceptualizations and client treatment plans. Applied developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions with regard for the complexity of the client’s given circumstances. Attended monthly client manager meetings and parole hearings.
