Student Athlete consistently devoting average of 20-30 hours per week in winter and around 35 hours a week in summer to training, practices, playing, traveling, and tournament competition while working towards achieving my academic goals. I have been competing in out of town and local competitions, and recognized as high achiever in sport and academics. Driven competitor exemplifying team spirit and good sportsmanship.
I have many academic achievements with being in honor roll since elementary school, and achieving a cumulative GPA of a 4.4. I have also done charitable works over the years since 2018. I started by creating a donating service in 2018 and being featured on local news and invited to appear on Good Morning America. Along with performing in my Church St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's shadow stations of the cross. I also participated in helping families who need new clothing by donating my time at Old Navy to help the process of checking them out through Assisteens of Bakersfield. Most recently I donated my time by going with some members in FCA at my school to help with the ALS Golden West Chapter walk in my town.
I have only been playing golf right at the start of my Sophomore year. At my first tournament I shot 134 with only having practiced 2 weeks before it. Now, I shoot from mid 70s to low 80s. My game is continuously getting better and I find greater passion for it. I know my scores can be much lower once I get my putting down, working on getting it to less than 30 putts per round. I continue to work on my short game and swing changes. Over the summer I played in tournaments in SoCal and it helped developed my game and competitive drive. Along with my local KCJGA tournaments which I finished with 2nd in overall points for the season.
