I am a hardworking student as evident by my rigorous undergraduate course of study. I have willingly taken on additional assignments to receive honors credit from non-honors courses. I have spent around 90 hours shadowing in three different areas of the medical field and am planning to do more over the next few months. I have a greater appreciation for people less fortunate than myself after spending time volunteering at a local food pantry and serving in my church's rest home ministry. I have helped deliver food from my church to these places and have seen and heard about the excitement and appreciation from workers and people on the receiving end. It makes me feel special to be on the giving end and reminds me that there are people in this world in need and that just one person can make a big impact in many lives.
I enjoy reading, being outside, being a sports enthusiast, music, exploring the medical field, and spending time with friends.
