Ashleigh Teal

I grew up in a large family of twelve children of which I am the third oldest. I have had a lot of experience with newborns up to teens. I love working with children especially babies. I would babysit weekly as well as needed for friends and neighbours. I am highly involved in my church. I play the violin in church orchestra, sing in choir, work in the nursery, and fill in for teaching the children's Sunday School class as needed. I teach 1st-3rd graders music theory and education at my Church's summer music camp. I volunteer yearly as a helper for vacation Bible school. I began working at Chickfila as a front of house team member during high school. In February of 2025 I was promoted to team leader and have fully enjoyed growing and learning while carrying the responsibility of leading other team members throughout shifts. I have a desire to work in the healthcare environment with babies. I completed my Associated degree in Pre-Nursing at Missouri Baptist and began my journey to BSN in Nursing this past fall. I will graduate May 2027 in which I hope to land a job in Labor and Delivery. I have gained some nursing experience throughout my clinical rotations, but I want to broaden my scope of knowledge by learning hands on skills that will help me gain the confidence I need to be a proficient nurse and provide excellent care to patients.
