I have a very eclectic background and the various positions that I've held have set the foundation for me to be skilled in multiple ways. I have a passion for learning new skills and trades and becoming an asset to any company that hires me.
I am a quick learner and can blend in or take charge in any situation I'm faced with. I enjoy working and take pride in having a great work ethic and want to be in a place that will allow me to continue to grow and advance my current skills. Life-learning is a necessity.
As a team member it is my responsibility to perform prep-work at the beginning of my shift to ensure a smooth and proper opening. Once the restaurant is open, my priority then becomes the customers, taking their orders accurately and in a timely manner, handling cash or credit card transactions as well as ensuring online orders are placed successfully. The environment is often fast paced during the peaks times but working under intense pressure and time restraints has proven to be a strength of mine.
As the store manager I was responsible for establishing and maintaining guest services, recruiting sales associates and management candidates while training and developing store personnel in all aspects of the business. Store Managers also oversee and are responsible for total operations of a store, ensuring all sales opportunities are maximized and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management and managing operating costs and shrinkage. This position required that I continually evaluate and effectively react to performance issues and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
As a daycare assistant, I was responsible for checking in children as parents dropped them off in the morning and during pick up in the afternoon/evenings. I also assisted in the various sections of the facility tending to the newborn and infant children, the toddlers, the pre-k and advanced pre-k children. All children were provided breakfast, lunch and a snack as I assisted with ensuring every child had each at the appropriate time. I also stood in place as a payment collector when the director was not available to do so.
