Technical Profile

Gather necessary medical equipment, supplies and instruments for setup. Assist Surgeon and Assistant in a variety of specialties including Cardiac, Transplant, Vascular, IR, Thoracic, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Orthopedics, Plastic surgery, Robotics and General surgery. Knowledge of instrumentation and maintaining a sterile environment, sponge, needle, and instrument counts. Positioning and facilitate room turnovers, handle specimens according to operating room policies and procedures. Have developed a strong understanding of the operating rooms diverse working styles and personalities and increased technical proficiency by watching, listening, understanding, remembering and executing knowledge in the field.
