I am seeking admission to the Pierce College RN Bridge Program to advance my nursing education and career. I am a newly licensed LPN currently working as a correctional nurse since August 2025, where I have strengthened my clinical skills, critical thinking, and ability to provide compassionate care in a complex healthcare setting.
My professional experience has been rooted entirely in healthcare, including roles as a CNA, RNA, and now an LPN. Each position has reinforced my passion for nursing and my commitment to caring for patients with the same dignity and respect I would want for my own loved ones. Becoming a Registered Nurse has been a lifelong goal of mine, and earning my RN will allow me to expand my knowledge, grow professionally, and provide a higher level of care. I hope to make my children, myself, and the patients I serve proud through my continued dedication to nursing.
