• Perform full eviscerations on decedents of all ages and case types, including infants and complex homicides.
• Conduct forensic photography and collect toxicology/histology specimens for investigative and legal use.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging systems including Lodox, CT, and Carestream.
• Utilize MDILog software for real-time case documentation, reporting, and workflow coordination.
• Coordinate decedent transportation and maintain sensitive communication with families, funeral homes, and third-party transport services.
• Interview and assist in selecting new autopsy technicians; provide hands-on training and mentorship to incoming staff.
