At Alta Vista Wellness Center, I was responsible for a variety of tasks as a physical therapy technician. I would check in patients, take their temperatures, and document vital information needed to monitor their health. I was also responsible for instructing patients in therapy, including gait training, Dynamic 8, etc. I would study these exercises daily to familiarize myself as a future physical therapist. I was also responsible for preparing modalities such as hot packs, ultrasound, KenkoWave red light, etc. Maintained the cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
