
I am a youth recreation professional dedicated to community service, with experience working at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium and caring for children in family settings for several years. I bring strong skills in child supervision, safety awareness, behavior management, and activity facilitation. I am CPR and First Aid certified and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities. I am committed to creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment that promotes meaningful experiences for children of all ages.
• Began as a paid intern performing administrative tasks such as printing documents, preparing materials, assisting with paperwork, and creating posters for events using Microsoft Word.
• Supported scheduling operations and documentation tasks and learned clerical procedures under supervisor guidance.
• Promoted to Recreation Leader I (on-call/part-time) assisting with public events including Nutcracker performances, Symphony concerts, Roller Derby matches, and other community events.
• Provided customer service to attendees, operated the register for card-based sales, and handled snacks, beverages, and event merchandise.
• Helped set up and tear down event spaces, arranged seating, organized materials, and assisted with staging for shows and special events.
• Ensured the venue remained clean, organized, and safe while supporting a positive and welcoming guest experience.
• Successfully supervised and cared for children ages newborn to 8 in both home and community settings.
