Paint Shop Finesse

• Inspected the paint of the cars for defects and imperfections. my job is to fix the defects that I found and if I am not able to notify the proper person(s) to get it over to a spot repair team.
• For additional support at times I am a floater. In this role I am responsible for responding to and keeping down andon time by helping the person in their pitch and finishing off sanding and buffing defects that the person was not able to do with in their pitch. I also helped replenish supplies that the member or the work area may need.
• I have worked in different areas surrounding finesse which includes CP6 and CP8. Working in the areas require a lot of communication to the paint shop by making them aware of repetitive defects that should not be making it out the shop and also by communicating defects that are being created by other shops such as dents /or scratches.

Logistics

• Working in logistics I was responsible for sequencing and paying attention to the different parts that needed to be sent to the line so that the assembly works to grab what they needed in a timely matter to assemble the car
• Cross-trained in multiple areas of logistics to offer flexibility to the different parts of production line and logistics area. I have worked SUMA areas, GLT, and some KLT areas
• I was tugger, forklift and scissor lift certified
• I ran the repair route for logistics. I responsible for making sure that the members down in repair was supplied with all the parts they needed to make repairs. If for some reason the parts was not available I put in "Hot Calls" which me to put in a urgent order to that we can get the part as soon as we can without putting current production at risk.
• I have also been responsible for making sure that most of the GLT parts was in stock or available and if they seemed low I would put in urgent order "Hot Calls" So that no downtime would happen

• Checked packages and merchandise for damage and notified vendors.
• Operated pallet jacks and material moving equipment to receive and transport items around the warehouse
• Boxed items up
• checked for damages to the product and removed them from production
