Good Catch February 2023, Earned a nomination for saving the company over $12,000/ Month. Product Builders had been throwing away eight bottles of chemicals instead of using the four that were still possible to use because they were label for another shift. Misunderstandings between shifts led Product Builders to believe the bottles were unusable., After discussions with quality control and supervisors on each shift to conduct an investigation over whether the chemicals could be used by other shifts within the same department. The decision was made and ultimately resulted in a cost savings of over $12,000/ month for the department.
