
Restaurant work is all I have experienced and being eight years in customer service taught me to be dedicated, outgoing and patient. I have great interpersonal skills, I am a good team worker and reliable when it comes to the job at hand.
As a restaurant server your main concern is customer service, taking orders, answering questions, handling cash, behind the scene stocking and cleaning and learning the POS system is part of the responsibility as it frequently changes.
Hosting taught me the ways of a restaurant, the main concern is greeting the customer to allow them to feel invited and comfortable when dinning in. cleaning and stocking, helping servers when needed and bussing tables to allow more customers to come in. Taking take-out orders and cashing tables out when needed and staying in a pattern to properly rotate customers to the right server to have things go smoothly.
