Engage Anthropology Award to a student who engages in the discipline of anthropology through critical thinking, creative vision, classroom participation, and academic risk-taking. The award recognizes outstanding engagement in scholarship, service, and/or anthropology-related extracurricular involvements. Waring Merit Scholarship held for 2 and half years offset the cost of education for student, taking in account of costs of tuition, fees, books, and room and board. Successful candidate received $1500 scholarship. Waring Summer Field Tuition Scholarship competition award, offered to Anthropology majors only, is based upon academic achievement, potential for scholarly growth, and student's financial needs. Dean's List for 3 semesters.
