FEMA PUBLIC ASSISTANCE CLOSEOUT, COVID-19 (10/2024 – 12/2024)

Client: Oregon Department of Emergency Management (OEM)
Role: Consultant

  • Creates closeout packages for the applicant that houses all of the required documentation that FEMA needs for review.
  • Identify project closeout needs and relay all missing information to the applicant so it can be retrieved.
  • Assists in the facilitation for the closeout of FEMA PA projects.

FEMA PUBLIC ASSISTANCE RECOVERY, TROPICAL STORM HELENE (DR-4832-TN) (10/2024 – PRESENT)

Client: Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA)
Role: Team Lead

  • Assists TEMA with the delivery of the FEMA PA program.
  • Coordinates applicants and FEMA to provide guidance on project delivery phases.
  • Facilitate various grant functions throughout all phases of recovery, including a grant application, awarding, modifying, monitoring, and close out.
  • Engages with local/county/state governmental jurisdictions and provides oversight and project management of approved Public Assistance projects.

  • Have closed out numerous large and complex projects totaling over $20,000,000.00 so far

  • Validate supporting documentation and compiles all of it into a closeout package as well as create a cost summary and final inspection report write up that goes to FEMA

  • Addresses issues and responds to inquires from applicants, sub-grantees, federal, state and local government agencies and officials regarding the PA Grant Program as it relates to closeout of projects and disaster accounts
