Seasonal Process Assistant
Support the area managers and associates by executing standard work duties. Those duties consist of:
- Preparing excel sheets for the area or and the duties that I am assigned to for the shift.
- Gaining data of workflow from the previous shifts before so I can better understand the production goals which varies shift to shift.
- Provide policy follow up attendance tracking by reporting T.O.T (time off task) and making sure associates are in the same place they're staffed or not self directing.
- Identified and addressed safety hazards within different work areas and the area that I'm most in
- Motivated associates to work in a faster pace but maintaining the standard of safety.
Participated in safety initiatives
- Doing working well huddles
- Coached associates on standard safety work and dress code
Inbound Dock Clerk
- Setting up Excel sheets in the beginning of shift to up keep with updates .
- Supporting the building by putting trailers in the dock doors with the correct contents depending on the area of the door and moving it out when its complete.
- Researching the trailers in the yard and at times from different facility making sure the contents inside are safe for our facility
- Reporting updates to my team and managers thorough the shift about the status of the moves, how much work is on the yard and whats inside, how many ISA's are competed.
- Supported reporting, accounting and recordkeeping staff with accurate updates regarding shipment information.
- Communicating with drivers that are there to check in their B.O.L (bill of landing) making sure they have a smooth checking in and out process
TDR
- I supported by opening and closing dock doors safely by following specific duties instructed trough the kindles and the standard safely procedures.
Ambassador
- Onboarded associates teaching then how to work safely while performing standard work.
- Showing then all areas of the building highlighting the restrooms, emergency exits, and sever weather procedures.
Problem solver
- Researching and making sure all work is safe to go to the next area that it will be worked on. Catching any issues or hazards before it is sent out.
- Researching the proper shipments, po's(purchase order), products and what department those items are going ensuring DPMO stays low
- Dealing with damages and anything else out of the ordinary
- instructing watersides where work is needed and printing out shipments for associates
- Shadow/trained many Pa's and managers in different areas on standard work
- I've experienced many areas like NPC, ICQA,Vendor Buffers and PR(Pallet Receive)
Associate
- Unloading trailers safely while making sure the environments are safe and functional making sure there's no hazards for myself or other associates around.
- I was able to learn different areas like Inbound Dock, NPC, PR, Manual Check, Jack Pot, Aros1 and 2
- able to carry 50+ pounds and stand 8+ hours
- Having a flexible schedule
