Medication Safety Expert:

• Analyze facility reporting systems for adverse drug event capture, timeliness, and utility, and recommend modifications.
• Design and Implement systems to drive best practices for medication safety, analyzing practices that contribute to medication errors and instituting measures to prevent them

Regulatory Compliance Consulting:

• Serve as authoritative resource for regulatory & accreditation matters pertaining to medication management
• Assist Pharmacy Leadership to develop corrective and preventative action plans

Infrastructure / Technology Supervisor:

• Serve as a liason with Information Services for onboarding and infrastructure management related to Medication Management Technologies
• Electronic Health Record change control and approvals
• Direct integration efforts and regression testing for code changes

Data Steward:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for business intelligence / analytics
• Collaborate with ETL developers and provide guidance for query development
• Support Pharmacy Leadership with analytic strategy and provide guidance as needed

• Serve as authoritative expert for all matters pertaining to medication safety and regulatory compliance for hospital, ambulatory cancer center and a critical access hospital
• Investigate medication safety events or issues and develop recommendations for action.
• Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of the organization’s medication-use technology and automation systems
• Developed sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling safety program
• Manage medication safety issues related to drug recalls and shortages
• Oversee medication error reduction plan (MERP).
