Driven and resilient high school student with a deep passion for pediatric nursing, inspired by my personal journey of recovering from Anorexia Nervosa. As a competitive cheerleader for seven years, I learned the importance of mental and physical health, which sparked my desire to help others, especially children facing health challenges. My leadership roles in various clubs, membership in the National Honor Society, and dedication to self-growth have prepared me in many ways. with my various volunteering opportunities at JFK Hospital, Quantum House, and the St.Ann food pantry I have discovered I am a good communicator and understand the importance of hospitality.
-I volunteer once a week, helping out on the nursing floor. My role is to lift as much stress off of the nurses as I can. This allows me to learn more about what I want to do in the future.
- I volunteer at the Quantum house about once every 2 weeks, giving support to children undergoing limb lengthening surgeries. I will sit with them and make them feel comfortable in any way they can.
- I volunteer at the St.Ann Food Pantry whenever I get a chance to. I get together bags of food for the homeless and people in need.
