I am an aspiring university professor and recent university graduate from Washington D.C., earning dual degrees in Political Science and Literature from American University. With previous experience in undergraduate scholarly research projects and presentations as well as winning "Outstanding Student of the Semester" by American's Univeristy's Dean of Continuing Studies, Jill Klein, I am well prepared to fulfill your position as a "teacher fellow." You can trust me with various responsibilities such as curriculum development, writing and research tutoring, and curating interactive classroom engagement and discussion over key lessons. My teaching philosophy begins with recognizing each students core potential to learn about what inspires them most. With the later intention of becoming a trained and licensed psychoanalyst, you can expect patience, attention, and a strong motivation to foster safe spaces so that St. Andrews students may find their voices both inside and outside of the classroom. I would be thrilled to lead additional extracurricular activities during my time at St. Andrews as well, such as assistant soccer coach (I was a key player of an elite travel club for over five years) or starting a chess club, film club, or a philosophy club. I am determined to make a meaningful impact in this role because I am passionate about education and helping your esteemed students graduate from St. Andrews with accomplishments. I hope you will consider my current skills and future career as successful match to your job needs.
