Provided organization-wide network support, assisted in the administration of the UFCW Network, which includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various components of computer workstations, laptops, printers, network switches, servers, storage area networks, mobile devices, telecommunications equipment, network routers, applications software, and cabling.
- Assisted in coordinating appropriate plans for completion of IT projects relating to deployment of monitoring agent, updating Security Software (e.g., spam filtering), and upgrading desktop computers for 200+ workstations, while ensuring legal, regulatory, and policy requirements are met.
- Prepared and updated manuals, instructions, and operating procedures for reporting spam, installing add-ons, and enabling multi-factor authentication for mobile phones.
- Conducted new user orientation training on network access, software availability and training, help desk tickets, and quick start guides.
- Performed basic network troubleshooting to isolate common network problems.
- Performed series of daily maintenance checks to ensure network integrity and reported resolved any discovered conflicts.
- Diagnosed, documented, and resolved any network, equipment, or application problems reported by network/remote users; provided follow-up assistance, or escalated as needed.
