  • "I am the one called Doc" Award - During a two-month training operation in Cleveland, Ohio, I was given out of a 40 person class an honorary award for being the most qualified Corpsman (Medic) out of my peers during clinical trauma training at University Hospital's ER and ICU.
  • Jungle Medicine - A rigorous medical course in the thick jungles of Okinawa, Japan that instructs Corpsmen how to employ tactical medicine to Marines in tropical jungle environments.
