- I have worked at bridges throughout my college career, and I have really enjoyed working there.
- I love the fast-paced environment, and I love the job I am able to bring to people.
- My duties there are, obviously serving people their food, but I would also make them drinks after I turned 21.
- I have received many compliments from my customers, and many have told me that I am the best young waiter that they have ever had.

- This last summer, Wilbur Ellis shut down their seed treatment plant in Sawyer, so I got a job with these guys over in Mandan
- From the plant operation part of things my job was practically the same
- I’d say that the main portion of my job was just getting seed or chemical orders together then delivering it to whoever needed it
- They also just implemented a part of their business where I was able to work on a chemical distribution machine
- They had me go through the brand new machine for a bit and I understood in within a day
- Even had to fix it when it broke down

- This time around I worked here without my dad
- He moved down to Texas and these guys still needed someone to run the operation part of the seed treatment
- I don’t think I could explain my duties better than I did in the one above this
- Only thing that was different was this time after we got all the farmers their seed they sent me over to the main distribution center in Minot
- Here I worked almost the whole day wrapping stuff up with plastic wrap, inventory, and moving stuff to and from semi’s with a forklift
- This is where my skills with heavier machinery really grew

- What I did here was that I find people that may want to buy some knives then I set up meeting times that would work for them as well as myself then I would give them a presentation that would last around 15-60 minutes completely based on the customer

- This was another summer job where I worked alongside my dad
- These were the longest hours I have ever worked getting up to a maximum of 80 hours a week and a minimum of 70
- During these hours I would practically run the operations solo while my dad was doing all the paperwork
- Before anything I had to set everything up which included opening all the garages around the plant manually, then pushing in the two 20-foot-high seed conveyors in then I would wait for the farmers
- What I would do when they got there was first make sure there were enough chemicals in each of the containers, then tell the machine what kind of mixture the farmers needed, then wait for it to mix before sending it to the bigger mixer
- Then I would go over to the other machine where I would calibrate the mixing speed based on what type of seed they needed and then send everything through
- That almost always was the first 30 minutes of a 13-hour day
