
I have worked for publix for a little over five years and have worked my way up to full time and in the running for contender to become management. I very rarely am late and I do my best not to call out unless i’m physically unable to work. I have one night a week where I am the full-time lead and oversee the deli closing crew to ensure we get out in a timely but efficient manner.
Assist customers with finding items around the deli and the store as a whole. Provide premier customer service at all times, whether it’s in the kitchen or up front on subs. Cook chicken and other small items for the chicken tower, slice deli meats and cheeses for online orders and in person orders. Make subs at request from customers in under 3 1/2 minutes, and serve hot food from the hot service counter. Off-stacking and putting away trucks, followed by placing that product on the sales floor.
Take customers orders, bring out trays to customers/pack up togo or online orders, all in 7 minutes or less. I also worked as a line cook, you were set on one station and had to work together as a team to make and plate customer orders.
