Niijkewehn Mentoring Program

Worked weekly with the CMU mentoring program partnered with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Empowered and educated Saginaw Chippewa students ranging from 5th grade to 8th grade engaging in cultural, academic, and recreational activities.

Mentored a high school student who was experiencing academic or social difficulties. Focused on making healthy decisions, finishing homework, improving attendance and grades, and developing post-secondary career and college plans.
