I have been dancing since I was about 14 years old, I started with hip-hop and stuck with that style until about a year or so. Deciding to expand my dance style, I picked up heels, however, I lack classical training such as ballet, jazz, or contemporary. I find myself struggling to keep up during drills that require terminology based on classical training. This is an area I want to strengthen desperately, as classical training would take my dance journey much further. I have always wanted to dive into ballet as well, and Visceral Dance Studio is in my eyes, an incredible studio to learn from. It would be an honor to be chosen for the work-study problem. I am on two dance teams as of now, with performances and competitions on the way, one for heels (Creations Dance Co.) and one for hip hop (Indie Media Dance Co.).
