I am social, very hard working, respectful, responsible, outgoing, a quick learner, I can work as part of a team or in an independent setting. I work well with others, have good time management skills and am good at multitasking. I have a customer service background, I have been serving, bartending and working in retail, and I also have a background working with kids. I hope hear from you.
At the forestry school there are a few tasks I am assigned everyday. I make sure the kids are following the rules the teacher has set for inside and outside, I help the teacher get the kids ready to go outside, I make sure the kids are getting along, I help the kids with anything they may need and I clean up once all the kids go home and make sure the different classrooms are ready for the next day.
In the winter I was a server in the lounge upstairs, which was a lot of fun. It was very fast paced and always busy, so I have experience working under pressure. I am also working there this summer at various different events taking people's food orders as well as working the snack bar. I also worked there as a bartender for some events where I would make mixed drinks and serve alcoholic beverages. I even did bar backing, some days in the winter it was so busy that I would jump behind the bar and help out.
At the Wildcat Den during my time there were many tasks I was assigned to do in the front of house and in the back. In the front of house I was taking orders, handling transactions, cleaning tables, bringing food to customer, restocking empty things and closing the restaurant at night, so cleaning tasks. In the back of house I was making food, making sure the food was made properly and meets customer satisfaction, I would restock things when empty, and I would clean at close. Lastly, I would train new employees in their assigned spot, so whether it was in the back or in the front.
At the Ski resort I did a number of things from working behind the counter in the retail store, working at the snack bar and floating to see if other areas needed help. When working behind in the retail store I would assist customers who wanted to purchase merchandise or lift tickets as well as season passes. On days I wasn't in the retail shop I would be working in the snack bar taking peoples food orders or cleaning the tables and floors.
Gliks was my first ever job and I started when I was 16. When working at Gliks I am constantly on my feet checking up on customers, working on new shipment, cleaning the store, checking people out, and even closing which involves different tasks. On weekends it gets very busy so I’m constantly running around making sure that people are okay and have what they need.
