- I was part of a great team at the ATO where we researched, designed and delivered a variety of digital solutions for different projects. We worked together to make sure our products had integrated analytics to help drive future innovation.
- Every day, we met for scrums to keep each other updated on our progress and make sure we were all on the same page. It was a great way to work together as part of an agile project methodology.
- One of my proudest achievements was creating the DHS Design System and overseeing its rollout across existing Centrelink websites. It was a big project, but we worked hard to make it happen.
- I also had the opportunity to work on some high-profile projects such as redesigning the public ATO website, designing myTax (an in-browser tax lodgement system), creating the ATO Annual Report website, and setting up ATO Beta (the department’s online user testing hub).
- I even got to serve as a UX designer on the redesign of the Centrelink Express Plus app, an internal staff application. I imported SVG files from Adobe XD and redesigned the entire app layout for Android and IOS variations using Sketch. It was a challenging but rewarding experience.
