- I provided support to and conducted the tasks of paralegals, including uploading discovery, writing and sending subpoenas, obtaining medical records, drafting indictments, and more.
- I worked with victims and witnesses in district court, documenting their information and experience.
- I worked closely on sexual assault and drug cases, often drafting indictments and speaking with victims.
- I organized evidence and discovery for a double homicide case
- I worked the front desk, where I managed incoming documents, assisted the public, and directed incoming visitors.
- I worked directly with the District Attorney on research and drafts for press releases and press conferences, and advised on sexual assault prevention approaches on college campuses.
- I created a handbook for future paralegals to assist with visiting witnesses and arranging travel. I also created a pamphlet to advise victims and witnesses on court procedure and what to expect that is still being implemented.
- Developed professional communication skills through regular interactions with supervisors and colleagues.
