Summary

My research project over the fermentation of different varieties of apples involved twelve different fermentations, including heating, cooling, and statistical analysis of the data. The four years I have spent in Tulsa Tech's Biomedical Science program has led me to learn how to perform ELISA tests, bacterial conjugation, gel electrophoresis, write lab reports, and use micropipettes. Taking an Organic Chemistry class in high school has provided me with the opportunity to learn how to titrate, perform column chromatography, perform fermentations. Tutoring freshmen in Algebra II has taught me how to teach and encourage students who may struggle with math.
