Sophomore at the University of Kentucky pursuing a Neuroscience degree on the Pre-Med track with a minor in Appalachian Studies. Originating from a small town in eastern Kentucky and deeply committed to advancing the field of medicine through innovative research and compassionate patient care. Passionate about serving others and enhancing healthcare support systems. Eager to contribute to meaningful projects that improve community health outcomes and patient experiences.

• Professional Education Preparation Program (PEPP) MD at UK - Summer 2026 - Program for rising college sophomores that exposes students to the field of medicine through lectures and shadowing at the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital.
• AppalachiaCorps - student internship program through the UK Appalachian Center that pairs students with work experience in the Appalachian region of the United States. This program was completed through Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) in the areas of cardiology and oncology.
• Lewis Honors College (2025-Present) - Environment for highly motivated students that promotes growth in academics as well as honoring the balance in life. Integrated curriculum to foster and cultivate skills including deeper engagement and thought provoking studies.
• Presidential Scholarship at University of Kentucky - Scholarship that covers full tuition and fees.
• University of Kentucky: College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List (Fall and Spring, 2025-2026) - 3.6+ GPA with at least 12 credit hours.
• Big Sandy Community and Technical College President's List (Fall and Spring, 2023-2025) - 4.0 GPA with at least 12 credit hours.
• Floyd County Farm Bureau Scholarship - $2,000 college scholarship with $500 awarded each year.
• Double Kwik Fueling the Future Scholarship - $500 college scholarship awarded to selected students in the Double Kwik service area.
• Floyd County Conservation District Scholarship -$1,000 college scholarship awarded to students pursuing a degree in an agricultural or science field.
• Floyd County Early College Academy (FCECA) 2023-2025 - Program on the campus of Big Sandy Community and Technical College that allows selected high school juniors and seniors to complete their associates degree while still in high school.
• Kentucky Governor’s Scholar Program (GSP) - Summer 2024 - Program for rising high school seniors where selected scholars spend five weeks living on a college campus. Scholars participate in classes while cultivating strong relationship and leadership skills.
