I provide a safe, and non-judgmental environment for one to share their thoughts and feelings. Both short and long term psychotherapy is provided to individual adults aged 18 and up to assist with issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships etc. Therapy sessions occur generally for 60 minutes once a week and are held on a HIPPA compliant video platform called SimplePractice.
Therapy is a collaborative process to assist clients in developing therapeutic tools and techniques to help decrease long standing, complex issues which have made managing their lives more complicated. As rapport and trust develop and grow between the client and therapist, the effectiveness and benefits of psychotherapy also increase.
I aim to assist clients in gaining insight for personal growth while recognizing and mending destructive and fragmented patterns one has developed over time.
I'm a strong believer in self care and emphasize this often with my clients. I was professionally trained to provide make overs to customers in a local mall while I was in college. I have also enjoyed doing makeup for many brides, family members and friends for their weddings which was a great honor! I also participated in a local make up and photo shoot event and was featured in an African American hair magazine a few years ago. That was an unforgettably, amazing experience!
