Nikki Abedi

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions to promote emotional healing and resilience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team as needed to coordinate care and enhance service delivery for clients (through private practice partner : Rula).
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address mental health disorders effectively.
• Practice is geared towards helping patients with OCD and anxiety related disorders, through specialized inteventions such as Exposure Response Prevention therapy (ERP).

Behavioral Health / Psychiatry department

• Timely assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and intervention of patients.
• Appropriate selection of treatment modality for patient's presenting problem.
• Provide appropriate and timely documentation of clinical encounters in patients chart.
• Provide individual therapy to seniors, adults, adolescents and children.
• Render appropriate and immediate crisis intervention for patients in crisis or in need of clinical services.
• Co-facilitated Dialectic Behavioral Group Therapy.

Children’s Outpatient / Day Treatment Intensive

• Provide biopsychosocial assessments; determine medical necessity, diagnosis, evaluation for ongoing mental health services, and discharge planning.
• Develop patient treatment plan through collaboration with patient/family and treatment team, utilizing appropriate interventions to target presenting symptoms and behaviors.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy while tracking patient progress and/or barriers to success.
• Provide patient with community resources to supplement mental health services.
• Proficient in Department of Mental Health paperwork and clinical documentation.
• Create daily/weekly activities & therapeutic interventions to be utilized in Day Treatment program with 8 or more patients who are at risk for hospitalization and/or highest level of care.
• Crisis intervention (assessing for suicidal/homicidal ideation to maintain safety).
• Provide mental health services to client caseload of 50 or more patients; daily productivity/billing of at least 7 hours.
• Provide consultation to team members.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with all team members.

• Sales experience (upon assessment match clients with appropriate products).
