- on my first pet sitting job, I was told the dog would not eat due to the stress of missing her owners. They said that with every other sitter she didn’t eat until they returned, but meeting me she adored me and I adored her- she then proceeded to eat every meal she was given and was comfortable. This has happened with most animals I have watched/met.
