- Biology: Contributed for one year, performing variety of laboratory protocols and procedures with skill, including dissections
- General Chemistry: One year of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice with kinetics and thermodynamics
- Organic Chemistry: Whole year of familiarity with NMR, IR, GC, reaction mechanisms, and chemical synthesis
- Analytical Chemistry: Six months of practical training in both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, became adept with GC and micropipette techniques
- Biochemistry: Expertise in structure and operation of biomolecules, acquired over course of six months of focused study and laboratory practice, became adept with spectrophotometer and micropipetting techniques
- Instrumental Analysis: six months of focused instruction and hands-on experience using analytical instrumentation for chemical analysis
