Proven leader and efficient problem-solver, I excelled at Amazon, mastering inventory management and enhancing team performance. Recognized for top sorting rates and significantly boosting new associate confidence, my blend of effective communication and meticulous attention to detail sets me apart. Achievements include being appointed as a Learning Ambassador, underscoring my commitment to excellence and safety.
As an associate for Amazon, I've worked in various departments, causing me to be well-versed in almost any area of the building. I currently work in AFE2, which is the second-to-last area before items get shipped out to customers. I am one of the floor's top sorters and was recognized by one of my boss's managers for having one of the highest rates for the month in the building. I am well acquainted with almost everyone on my floor, as well as everyone in other departments. As of last year, I applied to become a Learning Ambassador, helping new associates learn safety protocol, training them in the path they've been assigned, granting them permissions for their workstations, and explaining what to expect from the job overall. The majority of the associates I've trained have reported feeling more confident in their jobs and have achieved higher rates than most of my colleagues who have been there longer. I like to ensure that I do a task efficiently and effectively, while looking for other ways to do the task more easily, without sacrificing safety or quality.
As a sales associate, I specialized in merchandising, display management, and greeting customers to attend to any needs they might have. I also helped in the areas of shipping in receiving and with much diligence, I gained more trust than my associates, leading me to have more responsibilities. I've received personal gratitude from corporate hierarchies due to having an outgoing personality, as well as making people feel welcomed. I would say the most valuable thing I've gained from being employed with Burlington would have to be the smiles and joy I received whenever I was able to help a customer who walked through those doors. For example, while in uniform, my love for style has always been a huge factor in anything that I do. So when a customer would ask me if something was in style or not, and I gave them a universal answer, they would ask me personally if I would wear it or not, and that ultimately was the deciding factor for them. There is always an instant smile and much appreciation from them.
One of my top achievements has been becoming a learning ambassador at Amazon.
