Hello, my name is Azul. I am a compassionate and dedicated nursing student, and I will be graduating from Golden West College with my ADN in December 2026, and starting a BSN program in the spring of 2027 at Cal State Dominguez Hills. I am seeking a nursing position at a mental health hospital to gain hands-on experience in psychiatric nursing while providing safe, patient-centered care. I am very passionate about mental health advocacy, therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, and supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges. I am especially passionate about pediatric mental health, as someone who has been working in a pediatric hospital for the past 3 years and has worked with many children and adolescents experiencing mental and behavioral health issues, but I would love to expand my knowledge and gain more experience working with adults in the field.
