Summary

I entered on duty (EOD) with the U.S. Border Patrol on May 13, 2002 assigned to the Carrizo Springs Station. During my tenure I was detailed to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (HSI). During this detail I was tasked with investigating all types of cross-border criminal activity. My Supervisory Border Patrol Agent EOD is January 17, 2010 assigned to the Eagle Pass South Station. Currently I'm assigned to the Adminstrative Unit at the Eagle Pass South Station where I have started my second year as the Programs and Operational Supervisor. Prior to joining the U.S. Border Patrol, I attended Texas State University in San Marco, Texas. I graduated in the summer of 1999 with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology.

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of station operations as well as coordinate numerous administrative tasks such as schedules, daily duties and training.
  • As the Programs and Operational Supervisor at the Eagle Pass South Station I'm responsible for the ordering and purchasing of fuel, supplies, and food.
  • I'm the subject matter expert of our Permanent Immigration Checkpoint on HWY 57 near Eagle Pass, Texas.
  • I'm responsible for the reconciling of Med Pars that I generate to pay for detainee medical expenses.
  • I oversee different components of the Administrative Unit at the Eagle Pass South Station such as Border Community Liasion, Ranch Liason, Use of Force, Firearms, and VMO-Fleet.
  • I provide subordinate agents with policy guidance and direction and assist in implementing policy directives.
