Predominantly perianesthesia for the last 20 years. Computer skilled charting managing heavy daily patient volume. Proficient in all documentation/record maintenance/paperwork to ensure accuracy and patient confidentiality. All areas of major and minor recovery room nursing performed in hospital environment. Charge nurse experience with responsibility of four to six nurses in a twelve bed ICU/CCU cardiac care including thrombolytics, trauma patients both surgical and non-surgical, and ventilator patients. Leading the Code Blue team as the ICU charge nurse. Floating between ED and PARU were delegated to ICU nurses. Traveling around the country as an RN has given me the ability to jump in and function in an unknown area rapidly. I am able to apply my skills and fill positions that would take months of orientation to achieve.
