I have operated heavy equipment for 35 years of my life, 29 of which have been for Vulcan Materials. I have been taught by, and learned from, what I consider to be the best in the industry. I feel that I have the skills, knowledge, and the expertise to take my knowledge throughout the Western Division, and share my knowledge to improve production, safety and inspections of equipment, and safe operation throughout the division.

While in the United States Marine Corps, my job MOS was Engineer Equipment Operator. My duties were that of a Marine basic rifleman along with the duties of an equipment operator. While in I also served as a tool room NCO for 3 months and a dispatcher for 4 months. I served in the Gulf War for 9 months. At that time I was challenged to perform my duties under extreme conditions of combat that most operators have never dealt with. I got out of the Marine Corps as a Corporal, and a leader of Marines.
