  • Worked on a project with the Database Administrators (DBA) to migrate over 300 of their Kron jobs from several Unix/Linux servers on to Autosys. The migration of the Kron jobs to Autosys provided the DBA with an effective way of scheduling, monitoring and notification of their jobs.
  • Collaborated with other teams on creating a monitoring tool that provided varies support groups the ability to manage the monitoring\notification of their own Autosys jobs.
  • Collaborated on Europe/AMER migration project of all file transfers from IBM Connect Enterprise to Sterling File Gateway/B2B Integrator, which consisted estimate of hundred thousand file transfers that were migrated.
  • Lead a project to migrate around 100 FTP transfers defined in a legacy Windows server to a better secure application Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP).
  • Created Perl script process that utilize Autosys scheduler that use GPG or PGP to encrypt or decrypt a file prior to its transfer to a destination. This provides a center platform for this type of process instead of implementing it on several platforms.
  • Responsibilities included handling Autosys job(s) failure incidents. Assisting ITEC application groups with requests in setting up or updating their Autosys jobs.
  • Lead a project to set up and migrate file transfers from less secure FTP servers to new enhanced FTP servers that had IBM Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP) and Sterling and Sterling External Authentication Server (SEAS). The migration to new server’s platform provided an enhance in authentication and migrate all transfers from FTP to SFTP, which secure that data being transferred.
  • Implemented and managed a file transfer application called Attachmate Reflection for Secure IT Windows Server and Client that provided SFTP file transfers from any Windows platform.
  • Participated in disaster recovery test providing support for file transfers and Autosys applications.
  • Created a Connect Direct process that provided local file transfers to any Connect Direct clients utilizing Autosys scheduler. This eliminates having to set up Connect Direct application on multiple application servers, thereby saving purchasing cost of Connect Direct product.
  • Provide Autosys and file transfer production support to end users in three regions Europe, Asia, and U.S managing their requests or incidents issue.
  • Perform installation of Netbatch scheduling application on Tandem system and manage the configuring of batch process in Netbatch.
