Core procedures include: First assist for more ten surgeons of broad specialties including da Vinci Si and Xi assist; Open and laparoscopic GYN , bariatric and general procedures. Plastic surgery including reduction mammoplasty and abdominoplasty. Insertion and management of surgical drains, chest tubes and nasogastric tubes.

• First assist with Breast Specialist, assisting variety of procedures including oncology and reconstructive surgery
• First assist general surgery and GYN surgery
• First assist with Orthopedic Surgeon, assist in all ortho cases including total knee and hip replacement, open reduction internal fixation, arthroscopy
• Perform comprehensive and problem focused history and physical exams on all short procedure surgical patients
• Provide pre and post-op care for outpatients and post-op in-patients
• Evaluate surgical consults in ED
• Perform minor surgical duties, post op dressing change, some wound care management and minor bedside procedures etc

• PA for hospitalist group providing inpatient care in 150 bed hospital
• Perform clinical management of non-teaching patient including ordering diagnostic tests, referrals to specialist as needed and delegate patient care, treatment and testing to registered nurses and medical assistants
• Provide skillful and compassionate education to patients on their diagnosis, treatment and facilitate out patient follow up care
• Assessed inpatients in psychiatric unit, addressing medical consults as necessary
• Perform history and physical exams and write medical orders on patients admitted thru emergency department

• Performed tests and treatments on both pediatric and adult patients including suturing, splinting and gynecological examinations
