  • Led the design and implementation of the inaugural year of the Colorado Project. Oversaw strategic planning, fundraising, and implementation to ensure organizational goals were met. The Colorado Project is an annual convening of a bipartisan group of community and policy leaders from Colorado to work together on a policy issue important to the state. The first year focused on a Colorado strategy for sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
  • Directed the 2023 Denver Democracy Summit. Led the design and implementation of all parts of the Summit, including panel framing and speaker selection, logistics and organization, and budget. Speakers at the 2023 summit covered a broad range of topics related to democracy, including climate change, the war in Ukraine, and the strength of the judiciary.

  • Served as a source of strategic support and advice to two new State Directors, a new Chief of Staff, and an Interim Chief of Staff during their transitions into their roles.
  • Led the design and implementation of a new blueprint for stakeholder-driven policy development for the organization, in partnership with buy-in from the broader team.
  • Collaborated with the leadership team to manage and curate the senator’s political relationships and constituency outreach.
  • Led staff teams through multiple diverse stakeholder policy series in several challenging policy areas, including Western Climate Resilience, Housing Affordability, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Each series included stakeholders with different political viewpoints, and concluded in an agreement on a collaborative strategic document outlining next steps.
  • Facilitated regular updates for outside groups and individuals on the Bennet Team’s work, including presentations on our policy series frameworks.
  • In response to COVID-19, we collaborated with the leadership team to retool and reprogram our policy priorities to address the unprecedented demands on the office.
  • During multiple statewide emergency crises, including fires, I helped develop and oversee our rapid response team.

  • Developed statewide communication plans.
  • Supervised the in-state press and digital team, and the implementation of Colorado events and press opportunities.
  • Organized and led strategic policy development in partnership with CEOs from the aerospace, bioscience, and energy industries, with the goal of defining how we best support our 'innovation economy.' The roadmap the group created became the basis for several of Senator Bennet’s key legislative initiatives and influenced the state of Colorado’s approach.
  • Edited and finalized all briefing materials from the state team before they went to Senator Bennet.
  • In collaboration with the leadership team, prepared documents for Senate and White House leadership, as well as visiting dignitaries.
