Beder Nourachi

I served to prevent bullying, violence, and suicide among youth and communities through direct service by hosting and managing summits (150+ students). As a Jr. Counselor, we were placed through training for developing high emotional intelligence and problem solving skills when dealing with individuals from all walks of life gathering together in the summit.

• Observed the whole Radiation Oncology Department along side 7 Doctors for a month.
• I gained an insight on how an outpatient/inpatient department functions both from the perspective of the Nurses and Doctors.
• Engaged in conversation with many patients and learned how to communicate and display empathy.
