Completed 165 hours of clinical work in Family Practice - Primary care Under the preceptorship of Dr. Amy Balka, M.D. and Michelle Frickanisce, FNP-C.

• Completing 15 patient visits per day in preparation for gastroenterology procedures.
• Reviewing and documenting patient vital signs, HPI, allergies, medications, medical & surgical history, family history, social history, substance usage, and indications for the gastroenterology procedure such as colonoscopy, endoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.
• Placing the surgery order during the visit matching with appropriate diagnosis, procedure location, and anesthesia level (co-sign with MD).
• Offering instructions to patients and families on procedure, anesthesia, and preparation to ensure understanding and readiness.
• Collaborating efficiently with interdisciplinary teams to adjust procedural plans as needed through effective communication.

• At public primary health clinics: Performed outpatient primary care visits for patients of all ages.
