- For the past month I have been in Clinicals in the Methodist locations. I have been taught a lot of valuable information while being in this rotation!
- While being in Clinicals I have practiced patient positioning, sterile technique, and getting to know the surgeon preferences.

- At scooters I’ve had to learn the importance of team work which will be needed in the OR. I have good and clear communication skills that will be helpful in the operating room.
- Something else this job will help me with in the OR is multitasking. In surgery you need to be able to watch your surroundings and watch everyone around you to make sure sterile technique is always at its best but you also have to be checked into the actual surgery. I am very qualified for this because of the multitasking skills I have learned over the past few years!
- I’ve been seen as a leader while I’ve been employed At scooters. I am often the one in charge of a lot of extra tasks there to overall help with the store.
- I also know from my experience at Methodist for my Clinicals that there are often students. I have experience with training people and have good patience that would be a good quality for an employee at Methodist hospital!
